How to Carry People in Gakuran (2026)
Pick up and move a downed player with the V key. Carry is separate from execute — here is exactly how it works, where it works, and how to use it in PvP and roleplay.

Walk up to a downed player and press V on PC (or D-Pad Up on console) to pick them up and carry them. Press B instead to execute. Carry only works in combat zones — not in Green Zones like Classrooms or the Library.

Step-by-Step: How to Carry
- Knock the target down in a combat zone (Courtyard, Basketball Court, Club Akuma outdoor area, Fitness Center, etc.).
- Walk right up to the downed player — carry only triggers at close range.
- Press V to pick them up.
- Move normally to relocate them — drag them away from help, toward a friend, or into a roleplay spot.
- Press B if you want to execute instead, or just drop them by moving away.
Where Carry Works (and Where It Does Not)
Carry is a combat interaction, so it follows the same safe-zone rules as fighting stance:
- Works: Courtyard, Basketball Court, Club Akuma outdoor area, Fitness Center, Hallways, and other open combat zones.
- Disabled: Green Zones where combat stance is off — Classrooms, Library, and the Infirmary. You cannot carry a downed player inside these areas.
- Tip: if V does nothing, check the top of your screen — if combat stance will not activate, carry will not either.
When to Use Carry
RP Escort
Move a "downed" friend to a roleplay scene, the nurse's office entrance, or a hangout spot for bits.
Deny Revives
Drag an opponent away from their gang before they get picked up, then execute (B) out of reach.
Reposition for Clips
Set up a finisher pose or screenshot in a cleaner part of the map.
Avoid Griefing Flags
On RP-heavy servers, carrying is cleaner than stomping — win the fight, then leave.
