Quick Answer
Boxing is an S-Tier Epic (~5% per roll) fighting style. Its strongest tools are Untouchable — M2s have i-frames and cannot be interrupted — and Perfect Reflex, which refreshes your M2 a second faster on perfect blocks. With Guard Pierce III (20%) it chips through blocks. It is best played short, feeding the fastest M1s in the game into a pressure loop most opponents cannot break.
Boxing Combat Combos & Mechanics
Core combo strings and timing formulas for short-build Boxing pressure:
Core Boxing Combos Breakdown
- Bread & Butter: M1 x4 → M2 (i-frame, uninterruptible) → Dash → M1 x2. Relentless pressure for short builds with rapid M1 speed.
- Perfect Block Punish: Perfect Block → M2 (i-frame) → M1 x4. Perfect Reflex trims the M2 cooldown so this resets fast.
- Counter Strategy: Boxing M2s have i-frames — do not trade into them. Bait the M2, then punish the recovery frames.

Untouchable
Your M2 attacks are uninterruptible and have i-frames. You can swing through enemy pressure safely. This is why Boxing wins up close — if you spacing is good, they cannot intercut your chain.
Perfect Reflex
On a perfect block, your M2 cooldown drops by 1 second. Combined with an aggressive respeccing rhythm, the M2 comes back almost instantly, keeping your pressure non-stop.
Guard Pierce III
20% block chip damage. Even when an opponent blocks every hit, you whittle their HP — forcing them to stop turtling.

How Boxing Fits into the Meta
Strengths
- Speed: Fastest M1s on a short build. Enemies have almost no window to react between hits.
- Uninterruptible M2s: i-frames make the M2 a safe, spammable pressure tool.
- Block chip: 20% chip means turtling never truly stops you.
- Easy to obtain: Epic pool (~5% per roll) is realistic to roll for, unlike 1% legendaries.
Weaknesses
- Short range: You must close distance. Tall builds with long M1 reach can out-space you.
- Reliant on pressure: If you are forced to whiff and reset, your damage window closes fast.
- No Resilience: Boxing has no Resilience tier, so grapple clashes often lose to Wrestling/Muay Thai.
Best Build for Boxing
| Stat | Recommendation | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Height | Short (≤155cm) | Feeds the fastest M1s. The short, compact hitbox makes it hard to hit you while you pressure. |
| Ethnicity | Indian (shortest range) | Sweeps to the short height range and keeps your M1 speed at max. |
| Playstyle | Aggressive pressure | Relentless M1 string + i-frame M2 resets. Never give them a second to breath. |
Boxing vs Other Top Styles
| Style | Boxing Advantage | Boxing Disadvantage |
|---|---|---|
| Wrestling | Fast M1s out-muscle Wrestling's slower wind-up | Wrestling 55% Resilience wins every grapple clash |
| Kure | i-frames avoid Kure's telegraphed M2 grabs | Concussive M2 can strip your parry |
| Ali | Anyone can roll Boxing; Ali ~0.075% is near unobtainable | Ali's fastest M1s and guard-break crit out-pressure you |
