Ali was introduced in the New Town Update (Aug 1, 2026). It is based on boxing legend Muhammad Ali. The official Trello does not yet list Ali - stats are compiled from community gameplay footage and showcases.
Ali Passives & Perks
Float Like a Butterfly (Passive)
The crit shuffle grants i-frames for its entire windup. You can shuffle straight through any attack thrown at you, making it nearly impossible to punish you during the crit. This is what makes Ali feel broken in practice.
Sting Like a Bee (Passive)
Dodging an attack with your evasive dash instantly triggers a counter shuffle straight. Because the counter can re-trigger on subsequent dodges, you can chain multiple crits back-to-back for massive pressure.
Blood / Cover the Crit
The crit attack blinds your opponent and knocks them to the ground, leaving them unable to act while you hit them. Confirmed in the Short showcase.
Iron Fist
The crit is an instant guard break. It can also punch through a grab / clash, allowing an immediate guard break follow-up. "Against any style that isn't Ali, this thing is just busted" (Biggleton).

Basic Pressure Combo
M1 x4 → Crit Shuffle (blind + knockdown) → M1 x4
The crit blinds and knocks the target down, so you can chain into a fresh M1 string for huge damage.
Counter Chaining Combos (Dodge-Jeopardy)
Evasive Dash → Auto Counter (Sting like a Bee) → Dash → Auto Counter → Crit
